Earth 1 or Earth 2, Where Do You Prefer to Live?

With today’s global resource and food needs increasing every year combined with weather unpredictability many are starting to look toward finding Earth 2 or any new Earth like planet not already occupied, which would probably be strange since our Earth is all about having an environment for creating life. But ok, let’s assume we find Earth 2, yes it’s a long way out there, but it’s like a Garden of Eden, and all we have to do is be the first one’s there! Oh, how exciting! Now all those NASA dollars have paid off, forget the race to the Moon, we now have the race to Earth 2! So the word is out and now we have a new mission along with every nation with the ability to manipulate their currency. Here is the question I’m asking, do you now put all your resources toward reaching Earth 2 first? Or, will you let some other nation stick it’s flag there first and claim the whole planet as their property. The next question is, what happens to this planet ( Earth 1 ) if we start to focus on Earth 2? Do things deteriorate at an even faster rate on Earth I as we get closer and closer to reaching Earth 2? Will children not respect Earth 1 as much if they grow up learning about the wonderful planet in the outer limits know as Earth 2? So if we find Earth 2, where do you want to live? My answer is Earth 1, since I’m already here and think this is an amazing planet, your answer may differ and that’s ok, I believe you have been given the right to choose. And since I choose Earth 1 and think we should also take most of the NASA money looking for Earth 2 and invest it here on Earth 1 for a more civilized and smarter place to live now, but that’s probably not as exciting as discovering Earth 2.
