National Water Pipeline

Today the local government approved plans for the National Water Pipeline, otherwise know as the NWP. The plan is to have all areas who wish to divert flood waters from their areas into the NWP, those who wish to participate can get funding for the jobs this will create while saving money by keeping the areas from flooding damage in the future. The plan is to have the water diverted west via pipelines and aqueducts into large holding areas where it can be filtered and used for various projects. Top leaders said it is still too soon to know how many states and regions will participate but the generous funding should make it possible to complete by the target date of summer 2018. Opponents want to know what about the oil pipeline saying we need oil more than we need water or saving a few cities from flooding, so funding may be delayed.
